The operating season typically runs from late November to early May. For the best experience, visit during the peak winter months of January and February to enjoy the legendary high-quality Hokkaido powder snow. From April to May, the resort offers special pricing for the spring skiing season. It is recommended to check weather and snow reports before using the lifts to ensure optimal riding conditions. Please note that night skiing is not available.
Beyond standard skiing and snowboarding, the resort offers various school programs and certification exams tailored to different skill levels. Programs range from basic instruction for beginners to advanced technical training. For those looking for more fun, the snow park features various items and even sledding opportunities. The on-site rental shop provides a full set of equipment, including skis, boards, boots, and clothing, making it easy to visit even without your own gear.
The resort is located near the Jozankei Onsen area in southern Sapporo. This allows visitors to easily combine a day of skiing with a relaxing soak in a hot spring (onsen) at nearby scenic destinations. Its proximity to Sapporo city makes it an ideal destination for travelers wanting to combine sightseeing with winter sports.
As this is an outdoor winter activity, heavy winter clothing, goggles, and gloves are essential. While some clothing can be rented, you should bring your own gloves and hats. For payments, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) are accepted at ticket counters, shops, and rental counters. For luggage, lockers and cloakrooms are available: lockers cost between 300 and 500 JPY depending on size, and cloakroom storage for one set of skis/snowboard is from 500 JPY. If you are participating in a ski certification, please confirm the meeting time and schedule in advance.
