Otaki Castle (Chiba Prefectural Central Museum - Otaki Castle Branch) is situated on the historic Honmaru (inner bailey) site of the former Otaki Castle in Chiba Prefecture. Rebuilt in 1975, the structure is a three-story, four-floor reinforced concrete building designed to mimic the majestic appearance of an Edo-period castle. Please note that due to ongoing facility renovations, access to the interior of the building is currently restricted. However, the grounds remain accessible, allowing visitors to enjoy the striking white exterior of the castle and the surrounding natural scenery.
