A well-maintained trekking course of approximately 4.5km follows the flow of the Koheygawa River (a tributary of the Tateya River). Additionally, the course features several named scenic spots such as Iwayagoya, Hakunokutsu, Matsuo-buchi, Seiryu-buchi, Kujira-iwa (Whale Rock), Senzan-buchi, Hotesuna, and Hoshu.

Koheygawa Gorge offers a different face to visitors depending on the season. The best time to visit is from May to November. However, please note that the area is closed from mid-November to mid-April, so plan your visit accordingly. You can witness the fresh greenery of spring, the refreshing cool waters of summer, and the vibrant autumn foliage.
