The official swimming season typically runs from early July to mid-August. For the 2025 season, the designated period is from July 6th to August 16th. We highly recommend visiting during the bright daylight hours to fully enjoy the ocean activities. If you plan to explore the surrounding historical sites, it is best to travel during the daytime to enjoy the best views and visibility.
In addition to swimming in the ocean, visitors can enjoy a unique sightseeing experience via the cruise boats departing from Matsuzaki Port. To enjoy your beach day, please ensure you bring swimwear, sandals, a change of clothes, sunscreen, and towels. Please note that parking at the area is subject to a fee. As this is a natural public space, we ask all visitors to practice good etiquette, such as taking all trash home with you and being mindful of others. Since some services (like parking) may require cash, please carry Japanese Yen with you.
