The Nissan Motor Yokohama Plant is a cornerstone in the history of Japan's automobile mass production. The exhibits in the Guest Hall provide a multi-faceted look at technological progress. A standout feature is the "GT-R Gallery," where you can observe the high-performance engine's intricate details and the mastery required to build them through displays using authentic parts. You can also learn about the world's first mass-produced variable compression ratio engine and its advanced assembly line. Near the main gate, you will find striking car-themed sculptures created using factory techniques, making it a perfect spot for photography.
The Guest Hall area offers beautiful natural scenery that changes with the seasons. In April, visitors can enjoy the sight of blooming cherry blossoms (Sakura), while May brings the vibrant colors of Moschata roses. These green spaces serve as a peaceful retreat near the Engine Museum. We recommend checking the current factory operating status and arriving well before the closing time of 16:00 to ensure a relaxed visit.

The GT-R Gallery offers a high-level experience where the mechanics of high-performance engines are made clear through the use of real components. Located in the Kanagawa district of Yokohama, the area is a blend of industrial zones and residential neighborhoods. The plant is accessible via public transportation, with JR Shin-Kokoyasu Station and Keikyu Shin-Kokoyasu Station being the nearest hubs. Taking a bus from the station is a convenient way to reach the facility.
