The peak season is during the summer months (July and August), when professional lifeguards are stationed on-site. It is most common to enjoy marine sports and snorkeling during the bright daylight hours. During the summer, seasonal shuttle buses also operate from Gonoura Port to the Ishida district, making it easier to reach the beach areas.

When planning to swim or participate in marine sports, please bring swimwear, sandals, and a change of clothes. If you plan to snorkel, we recommend bringing your own goggles or mask for the best experience. During the official summer season, lifeguards are available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please observe local etiquette by taking your trash home with you and being mindful of other visitors. Regarding payments at local shops or for activities, please check in advance whether they accept cash or credit cards, as many smaller local facilities may be cash-only.
