Guide
Niseko Club Grand Hirafu is a premier resort destination located at the foot of Mount Niseko Annupuri in Kutchan, Hokkaido. As one of the key members of the prestigious "Niseko United" network, it offers a seamless mountain experience. The resort features a massive complex of ski runs and high-quality accommodations, making it a top choice for winter skiing and snowboarding, as well as a hub for outdoor adventure during the summer months.
The area has a unique history, with some of its infrastructure originally adapted from industrial transport systems into ski lifts. Since the early 2000s, the region has seen a significant influx of international tourists, particularly from Australia, which spurred rapid high-end real estate and infrastructure development. In November 2021, the resort was officially rebranded as "Niseko Club Grand Hirafu," continuing its evolution as a world-class destination that blends local Hokkaido charm with international luxury.
The resort boasts 22 diverse courses, catering to all skill levels from beginners to advanced experts. The facility is fully equipped with amenities including ski lockers, a front desk, and restaurants located directly adjacent to the slopes for maximum convenience. During the summer, the landscape transforms into an adventure playground where visitors can enjoy the summer gondola, downhill mountain biking (MTB), and electric bike rentals.
Winter (roughly November to March) is the peak season for world-class skiing and snowboarding. In the summer, the focus shifts to outdoor lifestyle activities such as the summer gondola, mountain biking, and BBQ gardens. Please note that operating hours and availability of specific activities vary by season; we highly recommend checking the official website or contacting the front desk before your visit.
In winter, the primary focus is on high-quality powder skiing and snowboarding. In summer, the resort offers a variety of mountain-based adventures, including downhill MTB trails, float trails, and electric bike rentals. The BBQ garden also provides a wonderful way to enjoy the fresh Hokkaido air with friends and family.
