Nasu Animal Kingdom, located in Nasu Town, Tochigi Prefecture, is a facility characterized by the incredible proximity between visitors and animals. Please note that operating hours vary by season and day of the week. During summer and weekends/holidays, the park opens at 9:00 AM. On weekdays, it typically opens at 10:00 AM. During the winter season, the facility closes earlier at 4:00 PM, so it is highly recommended to check the schedule before your visit. Seasonal events and the activity levels of the animals also change depending on the time of year.

Visitors can learn deeply about animal ecology through live performance shows and observational-style viewing in specific zones. The Nasu Highlands area is a popular destination with many other tourist facilities and resorts. Access is convenient via the Nasu Interchange or Shirakawa Interchange. The Nasu Highland Service Area is also a key stop for travelers. The surrounding area features various shopping outlets and local attractions for a full day of exploration.
As the facility covers a large area, wearing comfortable walking shoes is highly recommended. Depending on the weather and season, please prepare accordingly with items like warm clothing for cold weather or sun protection for sunny days.
