The Kenji Miyazawa Memorial Museum, opened in 1982 at the foot of Mount Kewote in Hanamaki, Iwate, is a dedicated space to the multifaceted life of Kenji Miyazawa. As a poet, agronomist, scientist, and educator, Miyazawa's diverse contributions are presented through a structured collection. The museum's exhibits are categorized into five distinct areas, utilizing screen projections, historical documents, and literary materials. The facility is a sturdy reinforced concrete structure spanning 1,135 square meters, primarily focused on indoor exhibition viewing.
