The MIHO MUSEUM is a world-class museum designed by the legendary architect I.M. Pei, nestled in the mountains of Koka City, Shiga Prefecture. The most iconic experience is the mystical approach leading from the entrance to the main museum building. The museum operates on a seasonal schedule. Spring (cherry blossom season) and Autumn (foliage season) are the most spectacular times to visit, as the harmony between the architecture and the changing colors of nature is at its peak. In spring, the experience of walking through the tunnel of cherry blossoms is particularly popular.
