Mihama Town Resort American Village is a large-scale, American-style commercial resort located in Chatan, Nakagami District, Okinawa. The area is dotted with a diverse selection of shops and eateries. One of the most popular attractions is the fireworks displays held by private operators every Saturday. Additionally, during periods related to the Sea Park Chatan Carnival (typically between July and October), fireworks may also be held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Your experience can vary depending on the season and the day of the week. Since fireworks are held on Saturdays, a nighttime visit is highly recommended to enjoy the spectacle. Please note that on October 31st (Halloween), special traffic regulations are in place. The closing time for the Chatan Town Public Parking (Mihama Parking) is moved to 8:00 PM. During this time, vehicle access is restricted, so please plan your travel accordingly.
You can enjoy shopping at various boutiques, dining at local eateries, or simply taking a relaxing walk while gazing at the ocean. During specific event periods, you can experience spectacular fireworks displays. From July to December, there is a regular schedule of fireworks on Saturdays and certain other days (Tuesdays and Fridays).
The area surrounding American Village features various hotels, cafes, and live music venues. Nearby, you will also find major commercial facilities such as the Aeon Okinawa Shopping Center.

No prior reservation is required to enter the facility. However, for specific events or certain restaurant bookings, it is recommended to check the individual establishment's information in advance.
On October 31st (Halloween), traffic restrictions are implemented starting at 8:00 PM. During this time, private cars and motorcycles are not allowed in the restricted zone; only taxis and rental cars may pass through. Additionally, the Chatan Town Public Parking (Mihama Parking) closes at 8:00 PM. Vehicles parked before 8:00 PM can exit through the west exit.
Please follow the specific photography rules of each individual shop or facility. Additionally, local authorities may conduct guidance or patrols to prevent loitering late at night.
