While entry to the temple grounds (Garan) during the Manto-e event is free, please carry cash if you wish to make donations or use other facilities.

As this is an outdoor nighttime event, please choose appropriate clothing for the summer heat. Because you will be walking in dark areas, we recommend wearing shoes that are easy to walk in and provide good visibility.
