Makuyama Park (Yugawara Plum Grove) is a nature-rich park located in Yugawara, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa Prefecture. The greatest draw of this park is the sight of approximately 4,000 red and white plum blossoms in full bloom. Especially during the 'Ume no Utage' (Plum Festival) held from early February to mid-March, the landscape becomes a vibrant spectacle, looking much like a pink carpet spread across the ground. Because the park showcases different natural expressions throughout the seasons, it remains a popular destination for visitors all year round.
