Komikawa Joyama Park, located in Katori City, Chiba Prefecture, is a scenic park characterized by its lush greenery and historical significance. The park is home to approximately 6,000 trees across 70 different species, offering a diverse botanical experience throughout the seasons. It is most famous as a premier cherry blossom viewing destination in the Hokuso region. The best time to visit is during the spring (March to May) when the cherry blossoms and azaleas are in full bloom. During this period, the mountain transforms into a vibrant sea of soft pink. For those who enjoy evening scenery, the park allows night use from March 1st to August 31st, providing opportunities to see the landscape under the moonlight.
