Spring is the most spectacular season to visit. The contrast between the ancient stone walls and the blooming cherry blossoms creates a breathtaking scene that is perfect for photography.
For the best shots, frame the reconstructed Inari Yagura (watchtower) against the sky, or capture the intricate textures of the beautifully preserved stone walls.
While the park is within walking distance from Kofu Station, we recommend renting a bicycle if you plan to visit other nearby attractions in the area. A typical visit lasts about one hour, allowing plenty of time to stroll through the grounds and read the historical displays.
