Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja is a highly prestigious shrine located in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Prefecture, and is recognized as a vital component of the Mount Fuji World Heritage site. For centuries, it has served as a central hub for Mount Fuji worship. As you walk through the approach, you are greeted by a solemn atmosphere characterized by a dense forest of cedar trees and neatly arranged stone lanterns.
