Kinosaki Marine World is recognized as a facility designated by the Hyogo Prefectural Board of Education under the Museum Act, making it an institution equivalent to a museum. It is also a member of the Japan Association of Museums. The facility is uniquely designed to leverage its seaside location, creating a seamless connection between the exhibits and the natural coastal environment.
The aquarium features several high-energy attractions, most notably the professional dolphin and sea lion performances. Beyond the shows, the facility is equipped with various exhibits showcasing a wide range of fish and sea mammals. The facility is generally open from 09:30 to 16:30. Please note that the final admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
