Kawazu Nanadaru is a breathtaking scenic area located upstream of the Kawazu River in the Izu Peninsula, Shizuoka Prefecture. It consists of seven unique waterfalls that showcase the raw power of nature. The sight of water rushing down the distinctive columnar basalt rock walls is a masterpiece of natural sculpture. With an 850m long walking trail, visitors can feel the energy of the water and the surrounding wilderness up close.
The valley, where the Amagi mountain range looms in the background, has been home to abundant water resources and beautiful landscapes since ancient times. This area has a long history of coexistence with nature, and each of the seven waterfalls possesses its own unique character. You can also find elements of local culture, such as two statues of the
