The Kasaoka Bay Flower Fields are a beautiful natural attraction in Kasaoka City, Okayama Prefecture, known for their ever-changing seasonal scenery. The area utilizes the Kasaoka Bay reclaimed land, completed in 1990. Together with the adjacent 'Michi-no-Eki Kasaoka Bay Farm,' it has become a beloved destination for many visitors. Depending on when you visit, you can enjoy a diverse variety of flowers, including rapeseed, poppies, sunflowers, and cosmos.
This area was formed through the Kasaoka Bay land reclamation project. Since the opening of Michi-no-Eki Kasaoka Bay Farm in 2011, the area has evolved from a simple agricultural zone into a vibrant hub where visitors can enjoy the harmony of nature and local cuisine. It stands as one of Kasaoka's representative tourism resources, blending local agriculture with the natural environment.
