The Karuizawa New Art Museum, established in 2012, is a registered museum recognized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. The facility is defined by its striking modern architecture designed by Rikuo Nishimori, featuring a glass-walled exterior and white columns inspired by Japanese Larch trees. The museum hosts curated exhibitions with a focus on Japanese contemporary art.
