Karuizaw Lake Garden is a vast 13,300 m² natural garden centered around a serene lake. The garden is divided into eight distinct areas, each offering its own unique flora and landscape. With approximately 400 varieties of roses—including many English roses—and a diverse selection of perennials that change with the seasons, every visit offers a new discovery. It is a perfect place to experience the breath of nature and find peace of mind.
The garden is designed as a "natural garden" that harmonizes with the rich natural environment of Karuizawa. Rather than being a purely ornamental space, it is characterized by plant arrangements that follow natural cycles and a layout that utilizes the local topography. Located at the foot of Mt.
