The centerpiece of the park is the magnificent 200-meter-long 'Sakura Tunnel.' During the blossom season, the park often features night-time illuminations where traditional lanterns (bonbori) light up the trees, revealing a completely different, mystical atmosphere compared to the daytime. Beyond the cherry blossoms, the park is home to diverse greenery including Yanasesugi, Sendan, and Kusunoki (Camphor) trees, with well-maintained paths for forest walking.

The landscape changes dramatically with the seasons, but the most spectacular time to visit is from late March to mid-April. During this window, the entire park is bathed in soft pink hues. Kamino Park is adjacent to the Kochi University of Technology. There are no strict boundaries like fences between the park and the university, allowing for a seamless flow between the two areas. The park is easily accessible by car and is surrounded by the beautiful natural landscapes of Kami City, making it a perfect stop on a scenic driving route through Kochi.
