Kachidoki Bridge is a historic bascule bridge spanning the Sumida River in Chuo City, Tokyo. Completed in 1940, it was once celebrated as the 'greatest movable bridge in the Orient.' Today, it is recognized for its immense technical and historical value, having been designated as a National Important Cultural Property in 2007.
