For those looking to stay longer, the camping areas offer a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the natural environment. Please note that availability may change based on weather conditions or sea states, so checking ahead is recommended.
At Jurizuka Beach, you can enjoy various marine activities including swimming and bodyboarding. The area also supports camping, offering the unique experience of staying overnight by the sea. If you plan to enjoy a barbecue, please be aware that open flames (direct fire) are strictly prohibited; you must use appropriate cooking equipment. Additionally, please note that activities such as surfing, the use of jet skis, and driving sand buggies are prohibited to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors.
The surrounding area is rich with natural attractions, such as the scenic views of Mount Chokai and the famous Juroku Rakan-iwa rock formations. Within Yuza Town, you can also find various hot spring (onsen) facilities and local specialty shops. After enjoying your time at the beach, it is highly recommended to refresh yourself at a local eatery or soak in a nearby hot spring to complete your travel experience.
When visiting, please bring essentials such as swimwear, a change of clothes, and towels. Given the strong sun, sun protection items like hats and sunscreen are highly recommended. If you are camping or having a barbecue, ensure you use designated equipment as direct fire is prohibited. The parking lot (capacity approx. 70 cars) requires a fee, so please carry cash. Also, as the roads in the Jurizuka district are narrow, please drive slowly and carefully. Finally, please note that fireworks and any form of open fire (takibi) are strictly prohibited.
