Reizan-ji is a Shingon Buddhist temple located in Ouchi, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City. Its mountain name is Choho-zan. The main deity is Senju Kannon (the Thousand-Armed Kannon), and the temple has long been a site of deep devotion as the 21st station of the Suruga 33 Kannon Pilgrimage and the 7th station of the Suruga Seven Kannon. The temple grounds are home to several significant treasures, including the Nio-mon Gate, which is designated as a National Important Cultural Property, as well as various prefectural and city-designated cultural assets that make it a valuable site for studying Buddhist art.
