Iwaki Marine Tower is a prominent observation tower located at the eastern edge of Onahama Port in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. Standing at a height of 59.99 meters, the tower offers an unparalleled viewing experience. The highlight is the "Sky Deck" located on the rooftop, which provides a 360-degree panoramic view of the vast Pacific Ocean and the entire Iwaki cityscape. The open-air design of the Sky Deck allows visitors to feel the refreshing sea breeze while enjoying an expansive, unobstructed view of the horizon.
The most significant attraction is the view from both the observation room and the Sky Deck. The observation room features floor-to-ceiling glass windows, allowing you to enjoy the scenery while staying protected from the elements. The tower is a sturdy structure made of steel-reinforced concrete, with a building area of 264.00 m² and a total floor area of 413.00 m², designed to withstand the coastal environment.
To ensure a comfortable visit, please note that the facility is equipped with an elevator for easy access to the observation room, making it accessible for many visitors. Since the tower is located right by the sea, the weather can be windy; we recommend bringing a light jacket if you plan to spend time on the rooftop.
