Lake Ippeki is a beautiful crater lake formed by a volcanic eruption approximately 100,000 years ago. The lake's surface acts as a natural mirror, reflecting the surrounding mountains, lush greenery, and the drifting clouds above. One of its most unique features is the presence of Chojisou, a rare plant species that is said to grow natively only in Shizuoka Prefecture. Because the landscape shifts dramatically with the seasons, every visit offers a fresh and beautiful perspective.
