The beach is officially open during the summer season, typically from mid-July to late August. The primary operating hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We recommend visiting during the bright daylight hours to fully appreciate the stunning contrast between the turquoise water and the white sandy beach.
In addition to swimming, visitors can enjoy various water sports, including surfing in the designated area. For added comfort, several rental options are available, such as bodyboards for 1,000 JPY. Whether you are looking for an active adventure or a relaxing day by the sea, the natural environment provides a perfect backdrop for your stay.
Located within the beautiful Izu Shimoda area, the beach is surrounded by various sightseeing resources. To reach the beach, you can take a bus or a taxi from Izukyu-Shimoda Station, making it easily accessible for travelers exploring the Izu Peninsula.
Please dress appropriately for summer beach activities. To enhance your experience, several amenities are available for rent: showers (300 JPY), beach umbrellas (2,000 JPY), and beach beds (1,000 JPY). Please note that many facilities are cash-based.
