Ikuta Ryokuchi is a vast natural park located in Tama-ku, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The park preserves the traditional 'Satoyama' landscape, maintaining original woodlands, wetlands, and agricultural fields that once characterized the region. Despite its proximity to urban centers, it offers a deeply immersive natural experience. The park is well-equipped with features like the 'Green Adventure Course,' which includes signage to help you identify various tree species, as well as themed gardens and observation decks that showcase different seasonal beauty. It serves as a vital space for both environmental conservation and public engagement with nature.

Please note that nighttime activities are generally limited to specific seasonal events, such as the Moon Viewing Festival.

For a comfortable experience, we highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes (such as sneakers). As this is a natural area, please dress appropriately for the weather (breathable clothing for summer, layers for spring/autumn). While access to the park is generally free, please check local signage for any specific fees for certain events or facilities. To protect the environment, please follow the rules: do not pick plants and ensure you take all trash with you when leaving.
