The Hoshoji-gawa Sakura Trees are a celebrated scenic spot located along the banks of the Hoshoji River in Nanbu Town, Tottori Prefecture. A continuous line of cherry trees stretches for approximately 5.3 km, painting the landscape with soft pink blossoms every spring. Beyond the cherry blossom season, this area offers a beautiful way to experience Japan's changing seasons, from the fresh greenery of early summer and the vibrant colors of autumn foliage to the serene sight of 'snow-covered cherry blossoms' in winter.

During the peak of spring, traditional lanterns are often lit to signal the arrival of the season, creating a nostalgic and festive atmosphere. The annual "Sakura Festival" held in early April is a significant community event in Nanbu Town, bringing together locals and visitors to celebrate the blossoming scenery and the harmony between nature and local tradition.
The most striking feature is the long, winding view of the cherry blossom canopy following the curves of the river.
