Hagikin Church is a Catholic church located in Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture. It was constructed in 1898 by master carpenters from Ukoshima Island, who had been baptized in Kuroshima. The church features a distinctive architectural style that combines a wooden main structure with a brick-built front facade. It is currently designated as a Tangible Cultural Property of Nagasaki Prefecture. While the front of the building was once white, it is now famous for its striking red brick exterior. The side of the building also features a unique balcony-style arcade, a signature element of this structure.

The history of this church traces back to a private shrine in the Kyosaki district, east of its current location, in 1878. A temporary chapel was built in 1885, and the current form of Hagikin Church was completed in 1898 under the guidance of Father Matara. The church was once a candidate for the UNESCO World Heritage listing of "Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region." In 2000, a large-scale renovation was conducted; while the building was once painted white, it has since returned to its historic appearance, preserving its profound cultural atmosphere. It remains a vital place for the local community's faith.
