Hirzen Jersey Land is a premier leisure facility located at the foot of Mt. Kamihiyama in Okayama Prefecture, directly managed by the Hirso Dairy Agricultural Cooperative. Surrounded by expansive, rolling pastures, the facility is a hub for high-quality products derived from Jersey cattle. Visitors can enjoy a variety of amenities including a restaurant, souvenir shops, and dedicated BBQ areas, all centered around the rich flavors of Jersey milk and beef.
Operated by the Hirso Dairy Agricultural Cooperative, the facility is deeply rooted in the local dairy culture of the region. It serves as a center for showcasing the unique qualities of Jersey cattle, offering both high-quality dairy products and leisure experiences that harmonize with the natural environment. It is a place where the local dairy heritage comes to life through food and hospitality.

The facility offers a diverse menu featuring the exceptional qualities of Jersey milk. A must-try is the Jersey Premium Soft Serve, known for its incredibly rich and creamy texture, along with artisanal sweets and yogurt. The northern pastures provide a stunning view of the grazing Jersey cattle against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains. From May to the end of October, you can witness the cattle grazing freely in the pastures behind the facility.
Operating hours vary by season: from late March to November, the facility is open from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. From December to mid-March, hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please note that hours may be extended on Saturdays, Sundays, and during public holidays depending on demand. The cattle grazing season runs from May to late October, offering a wonderful opportunity to see the animals in their natural habitat, though they may occasionally be obscured from the lawn area.

Guests can enjoy a relaxing meal at the on-site restaurant or host a fun outdoor BBQ. For those interested in animals, the adjacent Horse Park offers opportunities for horseback riding and feeding, providing a wonderful way to connect with nature. Don't forget to visit the souvenir shop to pick up authentic Jersey dairy products to take home.
Located at the base of Mt. Kamihiyama, the facility is enveloped by a vast, scenic landscape. The area is characterized by its peaceful, wide-open pastures that blend seamlessly with the natural beauty of the mountain range.
As the facility covers a large outdoor area, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. Payments can be made via cash or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.). While many signs are available, please check on-site for English-language menus or signage. For the restaurant or BBQ areas, it is highly recommended to check if a reservation is required in advance. Please follow all facility rules regarding photography. Regarding accessibility, please be aware that some paths may have uneven surfaces or steps due to the natural terrain.
