Hirayu Onezuko is a colossal Kembara (a type of evergreen conifer) located in the Okuhida Hot Spring area of Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. Estimated to be approximately 1,000 years old, the tree reaches a height of 23m and boasts a massive trunk circumference of 760cm. It has been officially selected as one of the '100 Great Trees of the Forest,' serving as a striking symbol of the immense life force found within the natural world.
