Harumi Shinsui Park is a municipal seaside park in Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, characterized by a refreshing, tropical atmosphere. Developed as part of the Tokuyama-Shimomatsu Port revitalization project, the park features palm trees that create a resort-like feel. The main attraction is the view of the Shunan Industrial Complex across the water. The park was established through the 'Tokuyama-Shimatsu Port Port Renaissance 21 Plan' to promote the effective use of the local port area. It has evolved into a beloved community space where industrial heritage meets leisure. A unique historical element within the park is a stone lighthouse moved from its original location. Built in 1893 by Matanojo Mitsunaga, the representative of the 'Kyoeisha' company, this lighthouse serves as a bridge between the area's history and the modern industrial landscape that defines the skyline today.
