Hamamatsu Castle is a significant historical fortress famously known as a base for Tokugawa Ieyasu. The current castle tower is a reconstruction completed in 1958, and its observation deck provides a breathtaking 360-degree view of Hamamatsu City. To ensure a comfortable visit, please keep a few things in mind. The observation deck can be quite windy, so please secure your belongings and be careful with small items to prevent them from falling. Regarding beverages, please refrain from bringing drinks without lids inside the tower. As the park is built on natural terrain, there are some elevation changes; please be careful near the stairs at the entrance of the castle tower. While the path to the base of the tower is accessible via a slope, the entrance itself involves stairs. Service animals like guide dogs are welcome.
