Gokuro Matsuri is a traditional festival held in Yoshino, Tokushima Prefecture. This event is held to honor the artistry of Soga Noie Gokuro, a famous comedic actor born in the region and known for his starring role in the film "Nonki na Tousan." During the festival, people parade through the streets wearing traditional attire, and as night falls, the area becomes beautifully illuminated by numerous lanterns and food stalls (yatai).
