During the summer months (July and August), specific weather conditions can create a spectacular 'river mist' (kawagiri). The water is so transparent that the stones and sand at the bottom are clearly visible, allowing you to feel the raw vitality of nature up close.

For the best experience, we highly recommend visiting in the early morning during the summer (May to August). Specifically, between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM in July or August, the temperature difference between the spring water and the air makes it much more likely that you will encounter the magical river mist and light rays. While the area serves as a refreshing escape from the summer heat due to the lower ambient temperature, please note that the spring water remains extremely cold even in midsummer; use caution if you intend to approach the water.
