The greatest attraction is the massive "cauldron" shape visible on the riverbed. These potholes, which can reach 6 to 10 meters in diameter, feature smooth curves carved by intense water flow. Watching the water surge into these cauldron-like depressions is a dynamic visual experience that allows you to feel the strength of nature directly. As the site is located along a natural canyon, we strongly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes such as sneakers or trekking shoes. The ground may be wet or slippery, so sturdy footwear is much better than sandals. Since water spray may blow toward you, wear clothes that are easy to move in and that you don't mind getting slightly damp.
Dokama is a natural scenic area, and there is no admission fee. However, it is useful to carry cash for nearby facilities or transportation. While some areas may accept credit cards or electronic money, small local shops and public transport often require cash.
