The rapeseed flowers spreading across the banks of the Chikugo River are one of the most iconic spring landscapes in Fukuoka Prefecture. From the vicinity of Kitano-machi in Kurume City to Yoshii-machi in Ukiha City, vast stretches of bright yellow blossoms bloom along both sides of the river. Nearby hot spring areas also make it easy to combine a nature excursion with a relaxing spa experience.
