Chidorigafuchi Green Path is a beautiful 700-meter-long promenade developed along the northern side of Yasukuni-dori in Chiyoda, Tokyo. The most striking feature of this location is the approximately 230 Somei-yoshino cherry trees planted along the water's edge. During the spring, these trees form a magnificent cherry blossom tunnel, creating a serene space where you can feel the presence of nature right in the middle of Tokyo's bustling urban center.
The area is deeply connected to the history of the former Edo Castle and the surrounding topography. The name 'Chidorigafuchi' is derived from the historical shape of the moat and its unique background. The area is adjacent to important landmarks such as the Nippon Budokan.
