Access to the observation plaza is via a well-maintained walking path, approximately 200 meters from the parking area. You can enjoy a peaceful stroll in a natural environment while taking in the views. Visitors can also leave a lasting record of their journey by obtaining a "Westernmost Honshu Arrival Certificate." These certificates can be purchased for 100 JPY at various tourist information centers, such as those at JR Shimonoseki Station, Shin-Shimonoseki Station, or the local tourism terminal.
