Yuza Sunset Festival & Yuza Fireworks Display

5 min read

Event Overview

Set against the stunning coastline of Nishihama Beach in Yuza, Yamagata Prefecture, the Yuza Sunset Festival & Yuza Fireworks Display is a premier summer event where nature and entertainment collide. After watching the sun dip beautifully into the Sea of Japan, the night sky comes alive with a dynamic fireworks display synchronized to music.

Highlights & How to Enjoy

The highlight of this event is the seamless collaboration between music and pyrotechnics. The fireworks are launched in rhythm with high-energy J-POP, creating an immersive experience. The most spectacular moment is the 'Star Mine' display, where fireworks are launched simultaneously from three directions: land, sea, and underwater. Beyond the fireworks, you can enjoy the majestic view of Mt. Chokai and traditional Japanese performances, including Taiko drumming, Hula dancing, and Yosakoi Soran dances.
