Guide
Located within Kibagata Park in Komatsu, Ishikawa, the Yugure Dog Run is a special spot to connect with your dog amidst nature. The facility features three distinct areas tailored to different dog sizes, ensuring a safe environment for even the most energetic breeds. It is an ideal location for large dogs needing more exercise or younger dogs developing their social skills.
The biggest draw is the freedom of "off-leash" play. The facility covers 1,664mΒ² and is divided into three specific zones to prevent trouble between different breeds: 'Yoshitsune' for small dogs, 'Toshigo' for medium dogs, and 'Benkei' for large dogs. This ensures every dog has the optimal space for exercise. With water stations and rest areas available, both owners and pets can stay comfortable. Watching your dog sprint through the gentle evening breeze is a truly blissful experience.
The scheduled date for this event/use is August 29, 2026. Standard operating hours are 15:00β17:00 on weekdays and 13:00β17:00 on weekends and holidays. Please note that the facility is closed during the summer (July/August) and winter (January/February). As this date falls in late August, please check the official Facebook page for any sudden closures due to weather or maintenance.
The dog run is located within the Central Area of Kibagata Park. You can access it via the Central Area No. 2 Parking Lot. We recommend checking the route from the parking lot in advance to enjoy a smooth walk with your pet through the scenic lakeside landscape.
To ensure a great experience, please prepare in advance. Visitors must provide proof of rabies and essential vaccinations. For those wishing to reserve the entire area for private use, please contact the Park Center (TEL: 0761-43-3106) in advance. Private bookings are limited to 20 people per session and must be scheduled outside of standard operating hours (7:00β20:00).
