Yugure Dog Run is a facility located within Kibagata Park in Komatsu, Ishikawa, where dogs can enjoy off-leash freedom. Set against the natural beauty of Mt. Hakusan, this 1,664m² area is designed for exercise and socialization. To ensure safety and prevent size-related conflicts, the facility is divided into three distinct sections: Small Breed (Yoshitsune), Medium Breed (Togashi), and Large Breed (Benkei).
The greatest draw of this dog run is the ability to let your dog run freely in a wide-open, natural environment. It is an excellent space for high-energy large breeds to get the stimulation they need beyond daily walks. It also serves as a vital social hub for younger dogs to interact and learn social cues. With clearly defined areas for small, medium, and large dogs, you can relax knowing your pet is in a safe, appropriate environment.
The next scheduled event date is July 25, 2026. Opening hours vary by season and day. During the summer (July and August), the facility is open daily from 16:00 to 18:00. Please note that operations may be canceled due to inclement weather; we recommend checking official information in advance. The facility is closed during the winter months (January and February).
The dog run is located within the Central Area of Kibagata Park in Komatsu, Ishikawa. The entrance is located near the Central Area 2nd Parking Lot. The surrounding area offers breathtaking views of the lake and Mt. Hakusan.
All visiting dogs must have a valid rabies vaccination. Visitors may be required to declare vaccination status to staff at the entrance. Private rentals are available outside of standard hours (between 7:30 and 19:30) for a fee of 500 JPY per 30-minute session. The facility is equipped with rest areas and water stations to ensure your pet stays comfortable and hydrated.
Please follow all rules to ensure a safe environment for all pets. We recommend bringing a leash (for transitions), water for your dog, and any items for your own rest. The visitor fee is 500 JPY per dog. If you wish to book a private session, please contact the Park Center in advance. As this is an outdoor activity, please wear comfortable clothing suitable for the terrain.
