Event Overview

The Yoshida Ryusei Matsuri is the annual festival of Muku Shrine, located in Shimoyoshida, Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture. The highlight of this event is the 'Ryusei' (Dragon's Flight) firework display. As the firecrackers ignite, they soar 300 meters into the sky with a thunderous roar. This spectacle is said to resemble a dragon ascending to the heavens, which is how the festival earned its name. It is a highly dynamic and powerful celebration of local history and tradition.

Venue & Access

The event takes place around Muku Shrine in Shimoyoshida, Chichibu City.

By Public Transportation

There are no direct shuttle buses from Seibu Chichibu Station to the venue. Please follow these steps:

1. Walk from Seibu Chichibu Station to Obanabata Station (Chichibu Railway).

2. Take the Chichibu Railway from Obanabata Station to Minano Station.

3. From Minano Station, take the special shuttle bus to the venue.

By Car

Expect heavy traffic around the venue. If driving, it is highly recommended to use the Midorigaoka Kogyo Danchi parking lot, which offers a convenient free shuttle service.
