The Yasugi Tsukinowa Matsuri is a signature summer event held in Yasugi City, Shimane Prefecture. The highlights are the traditional "Tsukinowa Shinto" ritual and the spectacular fireworks that light up the night sky. A vibrant market (marche) featuring local food and culture will be set up around the venue. This festival is a symbol of summer in Yasugi, combining sacred rituals, fireworks, and various entertainment.

Preparation is key to enjoying the festival. On the night of the fireworks, crowds will be very large, so we recommend arriving early to secure a spot. Since the market and music stages run simultaneously, you can move around according to your interests. Note that there are no trash cans on-site; please bring a bag to take your trash home or return it to the vendor.
Most market stalls and food vendors primarily accept cash. While some shops may accept credit cards or electronic money, many are cash-only, so please carry enough cash with you.
