Guide
The 38th Yamaguchi Prefecture Beach Volleyball in Hagi is a special sporting event where the heat of competition meets the breathtaking scenery of Kikugahama beach in Hagi City. Hosted by the Yamaguchi Volleyball Association, the Yamaguchi Beach Volleyball Federation, and the Hagi Volleyball Association, the event is strongly supported by Hagi City and the local education board.
Competition categories include Men's 2-player, Women's 2-player, Boys (Junior High), Girls (Junior High), and Mixed 4-player teams. Participants must be high school students or older (men or women), and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Experience the intense rallies and teamwork on the sand in the heart of summer in Hagi.
The greatest draw is the competition set against the backdrop of Kikugahama's famous white sand and blue sea. The contrast between the dynamic movements of beach volleyball and the natural beauty of the coast is a spectacular sight for spectators.
You can enjoy different strategies and speeds depending on the format, such as the 2-player tournament style or the 4-player qualifying league and final tournament. Whether you are a competitor or a spectator, you can soak in the refreshing summer seaside atmosphere while cheering on the athletes.
