Guide
"Waku Waku! Summer Craft Square" is a seasonal event held in front of the Sawada Yusui Nature House at Hitachi Seaside Park. This hands-on experience is perfect for children to dive into various crafts and enjoy traditional Japanese summer activities like Yo-Yo fishing. It is a wonderful way to spend time in a beautiful, open natural environment while fostering creativity.
The biggest draw of this event is the variety of craft experiences that change periodically. Depending on the day, children can try making kaleidoscopes, telescopes, insect-themed toy guns, or even planetarium bottles. Additionally, the daily Yo-Yo fishing is a massive hit with children. Making a unique, original creation with your own hands amidst nature will surely become a cherished summer memory for your little ones.
