Event Overview

Located in Nanbu Town, Tottori Prefecture, Tottori Hana Kairou is one of Japan's largest flower parks. The Autumn Festival celebrates the changing seasons with a vibrant explosion of color. Against the majestic backdrop of Mt. Daisen, you can witness a vivid carpet of 100,000 Salvia splendens and a vast field of 1 million cosmos flowers. It is a spectacular sight that captures the essence of autumn.

The festival's main draw is the grand scale of seasonal blooms. On the Flower Hill, enjoy the striking contrast between the bright red and pink salvia and the grand scenery of Mt. Daisen. On October 3, 2026, an opening ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 AM to introduce the festival's highlights. Throughout the season, various themed exhibitions will take place. For example, from October 3 to October 18, the "Succulent Paradise" exhibition will be on display. With different themes appearing as the season progresses, every visit offers a fresh discovery.

Venue & Access

The event is held at Tottori Hana Kairou in Nanbu Town, Tottori Prefecture. To reach the park, you can take a free shuttle bus from Yonago Station on the JR San'in Line (approx. 25 minutes by car), or arrive via Hoki-Mizoguchi Station on the JR Hakubi Line (approx. 5 minutes by car). Since the park covers a large area, we recommend allowing plenty of time for travel. Ample parking is available for those traveling by car.

To fully enjoy the scenery, we recommend exploring the park in the morning when the air is crisp and clear. The sight of 100,000 salvia and 1 million cosmos flowers provides incredible opportunities for photography.
