Tenno Matsuri is a traditional ritual held within the historic streetscapes of Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture. Historically, this festival served as the official opening day for the famous Gujo Odori dance. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful old houses in Kamidono-cho and the sacred rituals of Yasaka Jinja, it creates a magical atmosphere that signals the arrival of summer.
